About Kevin Jagrup

With over seven years of experience in social service and security fields, I am a Program Assistant at West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre (WSNCC), where I deliver the Gateway Security Training Program to clients from diverse backgrounds and needs. I hold a Social Service Worker - Immigrants and Refugees (SSW-IR) diploma from Seneca College, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to support and empower newcomers and refugees in Canada. In my current role, I use my past security experience from Paragon Security, where I worked as a Senior Concierge for a year, to prepare and deliver life and employability skills workshops, market and promote the program to community partners, and prepare clients for the Ministry Licensing Exam in the Gateway Security Training Program. I also use my social media marketing skills to increase the visibility and impact of the program. My mission is to help clients achieve their security license, meet their employment goals, and contribute to the well-being and safety of the community.
