About Kevin Kirk

Experienced President with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry, general industry, and safety. Substantial operations professional skilled in Project Leadership, Multicultural Teams, Process Improvement, Behavioral Science, Coaching & Mentoring, Psychologically Agile, Problem analysis/Resolution. I help companies create psychologically safe work environments. I want the whole worker to feel safe at work, not only physically safe but also emotionally safe. I have always had a love and passion for designing and building. I now help leaders build physical and psychological safety environments by applying safety engineering and behavioral science. I studied architecture before deciding my real passion was being in the field of construction. Half of my career I dedicated to construction/project management. I always felt a pull toward safety because our industry focuses on schedule and budget over worker’s safety. In 2009 I was allowed to recognize my passion for creating safe work environments. I had the opportunity to transition from project management into full-time safety. I was able to rebuild a safety culture from the ground up and, along the way, met Dr. John Austin, who coached and mentored me to understand how to build behavioral science into safety. Learning about behavioral science and emotional safety with Dr. John and educating myself along the way gave me many new tools to help others design successful work environments for their employees. It opened my eyes and evolved my way of thinking. I care about the safety of my fellow human. My passion is creating safety solutions to provide the most significant result for all involved. I want to help you by providing safety coaching and mentorship to your company leaders.
