About Kevin Kitimo

I am a Flight Planner at Astral Aviation Ltd, the leading cargo airline in Africa. I have a flight dispatch/Operation certification from Skylink flights and services. I have over three years of experience in flight operations, including payload and performance analysis, flight scheduling, traffic rights, handling and fueling services, and data and statistics management. As a Flight Planner, I work with the Operations Planning Manager and other Flight Operations Officers to ensure the efficient and safe execution of charter flights and schedule services. I conduct cost analysis, secure permits, calculate aircraft performance, and set up services for flights at the hub and outstations. I also liaise with foreign CAA’s, Astral Station/Country managers, and Flight Support agencies to coordinate flight operations. I have developed strong skills in flight dispatch, international flight operations, and aviation, as well as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. I am passionate about aviation and eager to learn and grow in this dynamic and challenging industry. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team and contribute to the company’s vision and goals.
