About Kevin Kopec

As an accomplished career/education coach in the area of Technology, Project Management and Process improvement, I have spent the last 20 years helping New England area residents acquire marketable skills through referrals to education and training programs, connected jobseekers with employers, and provided ongoing assistance as they advance in their careers. A career changer myself in the early 1990’s, I leveraged my prior skills with new technology through training and certification, taking a new career path into the emerging high tech field. In 1998, I relocated to Massachusetts as a result of an acquisition, and worked for Computer Science Corporation in Cambridge. In 1998, I was employed to head up Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s adult continuing education classes. This opened up new opportunities to provide career guidance and training options to members of the workforce from all fields and skillsets, assisting them in achieving certification in the fields of technology and management. In 2005, I was hired by New Horizons Computer Learning Centers in Waltham, MA, as an education consultant. Since 2009, in my capacity as Director of Consumer Training at William George Associates in Burlington, MA, I have been working with dislocated workers, focusing on Project Management and Process Improvement. My work experience as an Education Consultant/Coach would result in a beneficial contribution to expanding a consumer based vocational training company or Community College in a marketing and sales capacity. Currently I am working with United Training Academy. Specialties: Training and Career Development, Learning Solutions Marketing and Sales, Career Coaching/transition specialist, Distance Learning, blended, onsite and online live/connected Classroom. My career also included the conception, planning, executing and the sale of three businesses built around retail, ecommerce and consumer events.
