About Kevin Lang

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) currently licensed in Missouri and Oregon. I obtained my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. I have with me several years of experience in various roles within the mental health field. I have worked in residential behavioral health, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and currently in a group private practice. My main therapeutic approaches draw from humanistic and experiential approaches. I am an EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy) trained counselor, though, I also utilize other evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) if it is better suited to help clients. My work is generally geared towards highly motivated adults, working individually or with couples.
