Graduated with my masters in applied bioscience, where my research primarily involved the synthesis of different acid linker molecules to incorporate into solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis whilst observing silencing effects in biological cells and ultimately providing a generalizable approach to tagging any acid onto RNA. Prior to this I worked at ThermoFisher Scientific as a Processing Technician. In this role, my primary responsibilities involved the production of materials using various granulation techniques, operating equipment, and potential troubleshooting of any technical issues that could have arose during production. Currently I am collaborating with OTU and Borealis, performing folic acid RNA research to target kidney diseases, with my focus in organic chemistry and RNA synthesis.
