As the Director and Founder of Calder Business & Logistic Solutions, I provide specialised improvement programmes for FMCG clients, addressing their unique supply chain characteristics and challenges. I have an MBA from The Open University and a BSc (Honors) in Physical Education & Community studies from Edinburgh University, as well as multiple certifications in logistics, health and safety, and business management. With over 20 years of experience in business operations, logistics, and supply chain, I have delivered significant service improvement, cost efficiency, and profit optimisation for various organisations across UK, Europe, and international markets. My core competencies include distribution network design and planning, distribution and transport operational efficiencies, warehouse layout design and optimisation, operational review and performance improvement, operational change and migration, interim management, invitation to tender (ITT) preparation and process management, and business turnaround. I thrive in complex, high-pressure business environments, and I am able to manage across functional and cultural boundaries.
