About Kevin McCurdy

Goals: Expand my role in the design process and project management to increase client and team involvement through collaborative strategies. Involvement of all project team members, including owners, designers, and contractors is often difficult work that requires different ways practicing. But it is through the application of these various perspectives throughout the process that some of the most intriguing solutions emerge. I am very interested in continuing to understand and develop processes for encouraging more constructive dialogue within project teams throughout design and construction. I also hope to expand my work with college students from a variety of disciplines applied to traditional architectural problems to further test the limits of what a design team can or should be to engage more fully the suite of issues related to building design and community development.Experience:All phases of Architectural Design, BIM Management, Digital Fabrication, Design/Build, Construction Estimating, Interdisciplinary Team Management, Revit Training, Residential Design & Construction, Educational Facility Design, Health Care Renovation Design & Construction, Athletic Facility Design, Graphic Standards, Render Farms, Green Design, LEED Project ManagementSpecialties: Community-Based DesignCommunity GardensSchool (K-12) DesignSingle-family Residential DesignSign DesignHealthcare Facility DesignEcologyProject ManagementDesign-BuildLEED AP BC + DLiving Building ChallengeHabitat for HumanityAdobe CS6Revit (All Flavors)RhinoScriptingSketchup
