I am an experienced leader in technology, product and business development since entering the world of technology and internet business while the ink was still drying on my English and Writing degree. Starting out in the proverbial garage, I have been involved in the many phases of business lifecycle, from the funding and start-up phase to several successful mergers and acquisitions. I have architected, developed and lead the development of products that were no more than back-of-the-napkin ideas, and, along with highly talented partners and teams, grew and evolved these ideas into respected and profitable products used and trusted by some of the largest corporations in the world. A self-taught developer, I was the primary architect and engineer of one of the most popular membership-driven e-commerce sites on the web at that time and the first online municipal bond-origination platform. As a leader of cross-functional and multinational teams, I have assembled, trained and managed teams responsible for products used by banking and municipalities, and products trusted to probe for and report security flaws in business-critical environments.
