About Kevin Moore

Greetings all, I am currently a M.A. in Intercultural and International Communications student at American University in Washington, D.C, studying Diplomatic Practices in the Asia-Pacific region. With a background in linguistics, culture studies, and Chinese studies, my interests strongly lie in the intersection of language/culture and diplomatic practice. Precisely, I am intrigued by how communication tools (i.e. language use) and cultural diplomacy impact diplomatic practices seen in the Asia-Pacific and the relationships of stakeholders with vested interests in this region. I am also navigating intersecting this field of international relations with my passions of event planning, coordinating, and execution. I enjoy tapping into my creativity to turn shared ideas into realities for many to experience. With these interests and passions in mind, I am marketing myself as a Global Experience Curator, having the ability to leverage strong analytical research skills with global awareness to coordinate geopolitically informed and culturally intelligent programs, events, and meetings! I am seeking full-time roles in the field of event coordinating, event programming management, and public engagement, dedicated to developing and executing international experiences. Please feel free to connect and support my career as a Global Experience Curator. Thank you for your time and I look forward to connecting with you!
