My journey in sales started with a phone call in late 2003. A small software company in Allen TX had a copy of my resume and wanted to set up an interview. Little did I know that 16 years, a few title changes and a buyout later, that I would still be with that same company. With titles ranging from Marketing and Web design to North American Sales Account Manager, I had found my niche. Not only do I love what I do, but I am good at it!I appreciate a good business challenge. I like being shown the groundwork for a solid plan and then taking it under my wing to nurture it into a successful sales strategy. A strategy that not only works, but one that can be implemented in other areas of the business. I do not believe in re-inventing the wheel however if a better wheel exists, why not use it! Good ideas lead to good practices and good practices yield even better results.I like to brainstorm, mind map and throw new ideas into the ring. No idea is stupid if it works at generating new leads and eventually new business accounts. One step further, if something works then great, but if it needs improvement, lets fix it. I have experience working on trouble issues alone and in a group setting. I encourage team members to speak up and submit ideas.
