About Kevin Musterait

Once upon a time I was in Columbus Ohio. My life was all about swimming fast and blowing glass. I was in the water 6 hours a day and in the hot glass studio for another 6 hours each day. Suddenly, right when I thought I was about to enter the workforce COVID hit. My work options vanished and I made the difficult decision to return to my smalltown home. I did any work that was available, auto repair work, landscaping, Lifeguarding, construction etc. I eventually decided to leave in a converted minivan across the country to Los Angeles in hopes of better opportunities. As these opportunities presented themselves I became lucky enough to work for small glass studios and film production studios as a production assistant, VFX artist and Art fabricator. I've worked on many stop motion shorts and some very exciting Music videos that are genuine works of art. I've worked on large and small productions always learning and questioning how these film production functions with all of its moving parts. I'm proud how far I've come and aspire to continue working in this industry growing and seeing just how far I can go.
