Hello and welcome! I'm Kevin and I work as the Manager, Digital Literacy within the Regional Municipality of Waterloo Region. I've spent the last 11 years working at Kitchener Public Library building community and helping to bridge the digital divide. I'm a tech savvy digital native that loves exploring emerging consumer technologies. I enjoy staying up to date with the latest tech trends and am fascinated to learn all I can about the tools that continue to shape and influence our everyday lives. I'm particularly interested in advances in emerging technologies such as augmented/mixed reality (AR/MR), wearables, the metaverse, 3D printing and fabrication, datafication and machine learning. At KPL, while based out of the Central location, you can find me throughout the library system supporting and advancing our collection of digital media technologies, providing leadership, direction, training, expertise and end-user support to staff, customers and volunteers.
