About Kevin Parent

I have nearly 3 decades of experience in providing HSE leadership and guidance to various oil and gas operations and projects across North America and overseas. I am a certified CRSP and a skilled practitioner of safety management systems, hazard identification, incident investigation, process safety, and management communication. I am passionate about learning from incidents, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of safety excellence. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of safety, health, and environment for all workers, contractors, and stakeholders involved in the oil and gas industry. I have led and assisted in multiple high-severity accident investigations, developed and delivered safety leadership courses for site leaders, and conducted formal risk assessments on large and small projects. I also led the amalgamation and implementation of the incident management process for Cenovus and Husky Energy.
