About Kevin Parish

In 2020 I have founded a new business called KPLC Partners with Liam Corkery. We support companies to establish a footprint in China using a mix of Market Investment planning, Build-Operate-Transfer practices and a team of Advisory Partners. See I am also still the CEO China Connections Limited (CCL). A consulting business specialising in the China market. CCL specialises in channel partners, business model design, compliance, regulatory advice and capital requirements. CCL works with a team of professionals based in China to deliver on the goals of our clients. Previously I was the CEO of Primary Collaboration New Zealand (Shanghai) Co Limited (PCNZ) based in Shanghai. I was in this role from 2015 and established PCNZ on behalf of our New Zealand Primary sector shareholders: Scales Corporation, Sealord, Silver Fern Farms, Synlait, Villa Maria, Bostock NZ, Freshmax and Kono. PCNZ also now represents the following clients in China – New Zealand King Salmon, ANZCO Foods, K9 Natural, Rockit Global, Landcorp, Taharoa Ironsands and Douglas Pharmaceuticals. During this time, I have built up a team of 23 people to support the growth ambitions of our shareholders/clients and maintain the compliance of the business. In 2018 I was involved in the establishment of the New Zealand Business Roundtable in China (NZBRiC) and was voted in as the inaugural Chairman. This is a group of like-minded executives keen to promote and advance the business relationship with China. Our purpose is to support NZ businesses active in China through building knowledge and networking and also provide an in-market voice for New Zealand business interests in China. I consider myself to be a strategic thinker and an extremely self-motivated authentic leader with strong relationship and management skills. I have experience in successfully leading international teams and managing staff and contractors. I have excellent project management skills and pride myself in consistently delivering objectives. My career and personal goals are to advance the global standing of New Zealand – through collaboration and the building of world class brands.
