I take great pride in saying that I am an experienced, successful leader with an entrepreneurial view of my role within a larger organization. I have over a decade of direct management experience. I am a multi-vertical business development specialist who has exceeded sales quotas in both inside sales and retail sales. I have built upon my strong management foundation by adding core skills in recruitment/talent acquisition and social media management. I have always been passionate about empowering those whom I managed, and it means a lot to be able to analyze credentials and make strong in-person and phone-based connections with prospective candidates. I have begun to study candidate sourcing. While most people transition from recruitment to sales, I believe my advanced inside sales experience serves as an excellent basis for a career in recruitment. In terms of social media management, I have overseen social media content writing and strategy for a small business over the past year. I study social media content trends and hone my writing and editing skills on a daily basis. I have also recently started reading and learning about social media for recruitment, and the possibilities seem endless. My current platform specialties are Facebook and Twitter, and my LinkedIn, Instagram and Tumblr knowledge bases are expanding daily. I also enjoy the blogosphere, both as a reader and a blogger.
