Hi there! I'm Kevin Pullorkunnel, a passionate and driven information security professional who just completed his Bachelor's in Cyber Security and Data Assurance at Western Governors University. Currently I’m at UChicago Medicine working for their GRC team In my previous roles I focused on both security engineering and the GRC side. Through my internship at Trintech I found my groove with GRC, specifically being involved with risk assessments! Beyond the technical side, I’m someone who values teamwork, clear communication, and attention to detail. These soft skills have been just as crucial in my roles, whether I’m presenting findings to senior leadership or coordinating logistics for large-scale events for my Church movement called Jesus Youth I'm continuously learning and growing in the field, with certifications in SSCP, CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, and CySA+. As I look ahead, I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to teams focused on protecting critical information and driving security innovation.
