About Kevin Ring

I am a senior level executive with strong experience in organizational leadership, marketing, partnership management, business development and merchandise and licensing. I am relationship focused and driven by strategic thinking with a strong history of building meaningful long term partnerships - both internally and externally - that drive value for all involved. Prior to joining the PGA of America, I worked at IMG leading teams on several high profile global accounts including the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Thomson Reuters and KPMG reporting to the client's C-Level executives while also managing staff in Cleveland, LA, NY, Hong Kong and London. My primary responsibilities include integrated sponsorship programming, contract negotiation, strategy development, revenue generation and rights activation with strong results including being named Global Agency of the Year by RBS and growing brand awareness by 85% against targeted demographics while also increasing KPMG's brand awareness by 20% via its sponsorship investments. Further, I have also focused on the rights holder side of the sponsorship business by directing brand strategy and sponsorship sales for the National Lacrosse League and creating a non-profit sponsorship model for Phoenix Children's Hospital. I am results oriented and view sponsorship as a tool that needs to fit into the overall marketing matrix and work to integrate marketing strategy across business units to maximize effectiveness of all investments.
