About Kevin Rocks

A retired United States Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander, Kevin Rocks have achieved equally notable success as a real estate agent. He effectively serves a wide range of buyers and sellers by fronting his ethics, integrity, and empathy, and his compassion for clients relocating has become his unofficial niche. As one-half of a trendsetting husband-and-wife team, Kevin has risen to the top in a market saturated with real estate agents. He’s ranked in the top 5% of agents in the U.S. and in the top 0.5% of agents at his previous brokerage. He’s also been featured multiple times on Bay News 9 and in the Tampa Bay Times. These are just a few examples of his achievements that extend beyond the local market. Kevin joined the Coast Guard shortly before his marriage to his wife and business partner, Annie, and spent the next 24 years living up and down both U.S. coasts as well as in Italy. He worked his way up from a junior-enlisted member to an officer, and he served as a law enforcement and security specialist before transitioning to an advisory and training role that led to tours in Saudi Arabia, Italy, and West Central Africa. Kevin further served as Commanding Officer of a globally deployable maritime security force in Seattle before finishing his career overseeing search and rescue operations and emergency response in the Pacific Northwest. When he retired in 2018 and turned his attention to real estate in 2019, his previous itinerant lifestyle—which included 19 moves—made helping clients relocate seem a worthwhile cause. Having such similar experiences meant he could help others, and this connection inspired him to earn his license and launch a brand new career. Having had to deal personally with many agents when he was in the military taught Kevin valuable lessons about real estate, enabling him to discern stale tactics from qualified professionals. Kevin has also long maintained his enthusiasm for this industry fundamental, such as exploring new areas, discovering resources, and learning about the types of housing available. No matter whom he serves—be they first-time homebuyers, retirees, or military personnel—Kevin takes every opportunity to go the extra mile to ease the stresses of the transition and exceed clients’ expectations with high-quality results.
