About Kevin Simacon

I am a Registered Chemical Engineer specialising in sampling and sample preparation of PASAR's plant-wide materials such as raw or purchased, in-process, by-products and end-products, taking the role of Sampling Team Leader in Metallurgical Laboratory under Process & Continuous Improvement. As a Team Leader, I was able to establish best practices in sampling procedures, work instructions and guidelines. In 2016-2017, I joined Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines, Inc. as a Line Quality Assurance Analyst and was assigned in the Non-returnable Polyethylene Terepthalate (NR-PET) line. My job responsibilities include the following: ensuring the quality of the produced beverage in the production line, analysing and conducting different quality tests/analyses which are inherent in quality assuring. I'm also interested in the following areas: biotechnology, metallurgy, chemical engineering design, sustainable and innovative in natural resource management, circular economy, renewable energy, materials science and nanotechnology. Few of the activities I enjoy the most are CrossFit, yoga, surfing, surf skating and swimming. In addition, I was an exchange student in Northern Illinois University with Certificate in Community Leadership and Civic Engagement.
