Kevin possesses three decades of experience driving strategy in business development and advisory capacities serving the B2C and B2B channels. Cross-functional competencies in corporate finance and accounting, financial services, mortgage banking, marketing, and branding fuel a balanced, insightful business acumen. Kevin is currently a staff accountant at Astec, Inc. who takes ownership in areas including but not limited to the management of the cash position of the company; financial closing of the books and reporting; tracking and reporting commissions due; managing employee receivables; and intercompany transfers. Kevin is also a critical contributor to the modernization and reorganization within the accounting department leveraging technical skills, process improvement foresight, and leadership. Kevin also serves as an accounting, finance, operations, and strategy consultant to businesses with $300k to $7 million in revenue and new start-up companies. Some of the most rewarding experiences of his careers were as a combat medic and physical therapy assistant in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve where he enjoyed helping wounded warriors reach their physical rehabilitation goals at the Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He is a proud father and an outdoor adventure enthusiast.
