Lawyer by trade with unparalleled work ethic and extensive leadership expertise/success directing Client Relationship/Success in niche Sales/Product champion team environments (namely Corrections), maximizing the benefits of my unique, diverse skill set to exceed both internal and external expectations, goals/quotas. I have a JD from the University of Dayton School of Law, and a BA from the LeMoyne College. At LexisNexis, as National Sales Director (Corrections), my legal background/education, extensive Marketing and Sales experience, and in depth product knowledge were pivotal in leading a team of Sales Professionals to double digit POS growth for 10 straight years in a newly created Business Unit. Beside driving POS, I managed a $14+M retention portfolio to revenue growth in excess of 103% with over 99% account retention for all 10 years as well. At LexisNexis, Corrections was a newly created business unit providing custom built online/offline solutions to meet the legal research needs of correctional facilities/inmates nationwide at all levels, from the Federal Bureau of Prisons to local jails/Sheriff's offices. I was recognized with the Performance Excellence Award (COE) for top achievers, 7 out of 10 years. The ever changing landscape in Corrections required the development/implementation of creative new Sales motions, namely the adaptation of electronic law libraries from print books, requiring integration of fundamental technical expertise, to the most recent innovation in correctional facilities (shared service kiosks/tablets), driving a lucrative parallel indirect to customer Sales motion, leveraging 3rd party partnerships already providing hardware/service to the same customers. Colleagues and partners/customers alike respect my customer service/client satisfaction centric philosophy. Driving product development for a better user experience, simplifying pricing models in the face of new business models, streamlining contracting processes/documentation are a few of my accomplishments that fostered our success. My position at LexisNexis was eliminated in December 2016. GTL quickly acquired my talents, after having forged a partnership with them while leading the LexisNexis Corrections team. My position with GTL was eliminated at the outset of COVID.
