About Kevin Thobhani

I am an Automation Engineer dedicated to bridging advanced control technology with the rugged world of exploration drilling. I specialize in Codesys programming for PLCs and developing intuitive HMI interfaces, turning complex drilling processes into smooth, automated operations. With a solid foundation in drawing electrical schematics and control panel design, I create reliable systems that stand up to harsh field conditions. My work merges technical precision with a hands-on approach, ensuring each solution performs flawlessly from the lab to remote drilling sites. In the field, I'm a confident problem-solver who isn't afraid to get my hands dirty. I've spent as much time writing code as I have wearing a hard hat on site, ensuring every line of logic translates to safe, efficient drilling operations. This hands-on experience has honed my knack for troubleshooting under pressure—whether I'm debugging a PLC program during a critical operation or tracing an electrical fault on a remote rig. Working in high-stakes environments has taught me to innovate quickly and stay composed when challenges arise, and I carry that resilient, creative approach into every project I undertake.
