Background

About Kevin Thompson

I’m an aspiring Junior Web Developer with a strong foundation in front-end technologies and a unique blend of creative and technical problem-solving. After years in customer service and tech support roles, I made a decisive shift toward web development to combine my knack for troubleshooting with my passion for design and innovation. I’m proficient in HTML5, CSS, and Git/GitHub, and actively expanding my skills in JavaScript and React to build modern, dynamic web experiences. My experience in hosting and maintaining websites, along with AI integration and custom coding projects, shows my resourcefulness and drive to learn fast. One of my proudest projects is CaligoArts, where I express creative identity through interactive design and storytelling — blending poetry, branding, and clean front-end architecture. I bring strong communication and collaboration skills from my support background, making me an ideal fit for remote teams and fast-paced environments. Currently seeking a remote Junior or Front-End Developer role where I can grow, contribute, and help craft purposeful, user-centric websites for small businesses and startups. Let’s build something brilliant.
