I started my management journey at Five Below, where I learned quickly the importance of understanding the “customer experience”. Put yourself inside the shoes of a customer and try to understand what they see and feel when dealing with the business. During my time, I successfully created a team dynamic change that launched our rankings into a consistent top performing location in the country. The focus was, get the right team behind you, and never stop training. “The highest performers don’t skip practice”. My Aptive Journey started as a Service Professional in the field taking care of mostly residential homes. This is where I learned the importance of empathy in customer service. During my time as a Service Professional, I was not only a top performer in my location, but also a top 100 SP in the company. I moved forward into a trainer position within Aptive with the responsibilities of onboarding and teaching, both in a classroom and a field setting. Classes were taught in person, as well as virtually. My time in this position greatly improved employee retention, as well as customer satisfaction. I now serve as a supervisor over my location with a staff that can reach upwards to fifty. I work with both operations and sales teams to hit projections, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
