About Kevin Yu

A solution performance and reliability architect with over twenty five years’ experience in the industry. I have led businesses to scale and sustain new records for Cyber Monday. Partnered across offering, engineering, operations and client success teams to improve solution availability and user experience across $100M+ portfolio. My interest has always been about solution performance, reliability and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering). I have spent my career championing and evolving the SRE profession. I developed SRE curriculum and content that led my organization to lead the SRE profession in IBM. I have also successfully created and implemented org-wide AI strategic innovation at intersect with reliability and observability that has become products such as IBM Concert, AIOps and continued to collaborate with the teams to further its industry leadership in vision and execution. Currently, I lead IBM Software's SRE practice - transforming it into an engineering discipline that is data-driven, KPI focused and centred on adopting AI to enhance productivity and deliver superior client outcomes.
