About Kewin Rausch

I am a passionate professional of software design and development, specialized in computer networks and security. During my career I had the opportunity to deal with problems related to the low-level world of software, where patience, competence and precision are required to make the product successful. This is where I stand, and where all my focus and passion are currently aimed at.I do believe that in any project, a successful software must be designed in a robust, modular and lightweight way. This is not just the effort of single developer, but the achievement of a professional team.As an Expert Research Engineer I had the opportunity to work on multi-million projects on networking research, part of the Horizon 2020 project of the European Community. This allowed to expand my skills and expertise in the fields of wired and wireless networks, and more in particular in the 4G/5G cellular networks. Such experience inspired my interest in the computer security, and to the resolution of confidentiality, integrity and authentication problems connected to the world of software communication. This interest later evolved in successful projects related to the detection and mitigation of DDoS attacks against cloud providers and IOT devices using cutting edge Machine Learning algorithms.
