About Keya Mathur

I am a Counselling Psychologist, having done my M.Sc in Clinical Psychology from Manipal (MAHE). At heart, I believe in everyone's ability to become better, and that each person is an expert in their own lives and their own story. As a Psychologist, I wish to honour the journey each person has travelled so far, and create a safe space for people who come to me to heal and grow as they navigate ahead. I am a Narrative, Trauma-focussed therapist, having been certified in Narrative Therapy (Muktha Foundation), Emotionally-Focussed Individual Therapy (CORE), and prefer using EFT, IFS (Parts work), and Somatic techniques as my main modality of trauma work. While I work at an individual scale right now, making grassroot level change, my long-term focus is to bring about change on a societal level.
