About Keya Shah

I always imagined myself in a medical profession, dreaming of becoming a doctor. However, life had other plans. During my studies, I discovered physiotherapy—a field that fascinated me with its power to heal without medication or surgery. The idea of guiding patients back to wellness using movement and manual therapies alone felt truly inspiring. I devoted four and a half years to my undergraduate studies, immersing myself in the principles and practice of physiotherapy. Along the way, I developed a deep respect for the resilience of the human body and a commitment to patient-centred care. But I knew I wanted to expand my understanding even further and dreamed of pursuing a master’s degree abroad. This vision led me to Sheffield Hallam University, where I completed my postgraduate studies with merit. Living and learning in a new country opened my mind to diverse perspectives in healthcare and further strengthened my dedication to this field. My next goal? As an HCPC-registered physiotherapist, my goal is to secure a role where I can bring all this knowledge and passion to work directly with patients, supporting them in improving their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. I’m excited about the journey ahead and eager to contribute to a team that shares my commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
