As a first-generation Mexican American, I bring a unique perspective to my career in Television Production, rooted by a deep belief in representation. My passion lies in crafting stories that resonate with a global audience, stories that embrace diversity and amplify voices often unheard. Growing up as the translator for my parents, I had to learn organization, budgeting, and leadership from an early age. These weren't just professional skills but a necessity in navigating a new culture and language for my family. It's this blend of personal experience and professional that motivates my commitment to creating content that not only entertains but also reflects our global community. California State University, Northridge has provided me with valuable experience, allowing me to work collaboratively within a team. I have acquired knowledge in various facets of production, including cameras, scriptwriting, pitching, producing, all in a timely manner. I am drawn to roles that present challenges and diversity, relishing the opportunity to lead projects while also contributing meaningfully. Wearing multiple "hats" in these roles allows me to navigate the complexities of the job effectively and ensure its successful completion.
