About Kfir Oved

Since completing my bachelor’s degree, I have been motivated to broaden my cultural and social knowledge. I have also wanted to deepen my knowledge of human behavior. In the Netherlands, I was allowed to achieve both objectives. Living in another country, whilst continuing my academic journey by studying a research master in psychology. I have experience in clinical and applied psychological research; with special interests in eHealth and positive psychology. • Development and validation of tools used in a smartphone application aiming to promote behavioral change, • Monitor innovative clinical research projects of medical devices and psychotherapy with the assistance of mind-altering substances, • Monitor several clinical phases of studies, from pilot through phase 3 FDA studies, • Implementation of technological medical devices in daily practice, • Negotiation of contracts and budgets, • Research guidance to psychiatry residents (MDs), • Coordinating several RCT’s, multi-center and locals, where the rest of the team and I treated patients with disorders such as Major depressive disorder and ADHD using a deep TMS treatment, • Completed training of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HDRS, MADRS, CAPS-5, Deep TMS operating, and eHealth courses. My main interest is research and innovation in the fields of social and medical sciences. I believe the innovation in the field to be a promising vehicle for increasing individuals’ well-being and techniques to advance human health. Overall, research for me is a way to understand things better in order to make the best decisions. In my previous jobs, I have established and maintained effective working relationships with clients, carers, and colleagues. I enjoy learning and continue to pursue insights daily. Learning about new research, technologies, economic trends, and figuring out how to perform a complicated analysis. I can confidently manage empirical complexity, incompleteness, and informatic contradiction.
