Devaiah. K.G is a Junior Partner with the firm, specialising in employment law and Data Privacy. His expertise spans a wide array of areas, including advising and representing clients on matters such as hiring, restructuring of compensation and benefits, drafting of employment agreements, engaging contract workers, workforce restructuring, closure, M&A, regulatory compliance, union negotiations, and more. As a part of the firm's investigation practice, he is involved in undertaking investigations and conducting inquiries into workplace harassment, issues of misconduct, cases involving corruption, or kickbacks. Devaiah contributes to the firm's industrial relations practice. He assists clients in navigating complex labour issues involving trade unions, representing them before various authorities such as the Office of Labour Commissioner, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, and the High Court of Karnataka. Devaiah also regularly conducts training sessions for clients on regulatory compliance, encompassing relevant employment and data privacy laws, and including best practices to be adopted by organisations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from University Law College, Bangalore, and a Master of Law from National Law University Jodhpur. Furthermore, he is certified in Data: Law, Policy, and Regulation by the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. Outside of his professional endeavours, Devaiah has a passion for teaching and has served as a visiting faculty member at the School of Law, Christ University. He has also achieved significant recognition, securing the All-India Rank of sixteen, and was recommended by the 24th SSB as a commissioned officer in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Branch of the Indian Army in 2013.
