About Khadeeja Ahsan

I am a lawyer and trained workplace investigator with over 10 years of experience in litigation and investigation work. As a workplace investigator and have conducted complex and comprehensive external investigations for municipalities, corporations and small businesses and internal investigations in my current role. As a lawyer, I have provided representation and summary advice in administrative, employment, human rights, and immigration matters. I have appeared before several administrative tribunals (including the HRTO, IRB, OLRB, and SJTO), the Federal Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, and the Superior Court of Canada. I also have extensive experience with policy and law reform work, and have appeared before federal parliamentary and provincial ministry committees and roundtables on various public interest initiatives. I have presented legal education seminars to government agencies, service providers and members of the public. I also have experience of being a volunteer member of the board of directors of non-profit organizations, and am strongly committed to promoting access to justice. I am an enthusiastic and resourceful professional who is flexible, has strong analytical skills, learns quickly, and is always willing to take on new challenges.
