I am a highly motivated Early Career Educator with a passion for guiding students through their educational journeys. With extensive coursework in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, I bring strong analytical skills and a commitment to holistic student development. Throughout my experience, I have excelled in roles that require both cultural awareness and a deep commitment to fostering positive learning environments. As a Lead Math Teacher and a Teacher’s Assistant for Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus classes at Phillips Academy, I collaborated with educators to create a rigorous syllabus and led study sessions that reinforced key concepts, helping students build confidence in their abilities. Additionally, I have provided individualized support across all subjects, focusing on foundational skills and academic improvement for students from elementary school to college, as well as tutoring adults returning to higher education. My work as an Academic Advising Intern at the American University of Kuwait allowed me to support undergraduate students in course selection and academic planning, while also guiding them through the college application process. I am deeply committed to community engagement, having organized diverse student events and initiatives at Dartmouth and the American University of Kuwait, including cultural celebrations, sustainability informational sessions, and leadership workshops. As I transition into a first-year math teaching role, I am eager to empower students with the tools they need to become excellent problem solvers while fostering an attitude of lifelong learning.
