About Khaled Alwithinani

Data Engineer at Wärtsilä, we source, retrieve and load data using various technologies and programming languages. We aim to deliver data in its most usable format, which then will be used by our business partners and stakeholders. Worked as a Data Analyst Lead at Palofy Analytics, I connect people and improve communication between teams. My analytical background enables me to make decisions using the insights of data and share insights with the rest of the team. I collect information and strategies to be able to direct individuals to where they fit best to ensure maximum performance for a given project. Spatial analyst guru, I am an MSc graduate in Engineering Geomorphology, Consultancy and Practice (University of Sussex, UK). I also completed a BEng degree in civil and environmental engineering (University of Brighton, UK) on a Saudi Arabia government scholarship that was awarded to me for my outstanding performance in Survey Technology at the College of Technology (Taif, Saudi Arabia) ‍ I attended a training programme in Aramco, the largest oil company in Saudi Arabia, and so am accustomed to mapping using ArcGIS, safety practices, data collection and analysis. I am interested mostly in opportunities where I can analyse data to help in making data-driven decisions 🧠. I am interested in The National Land Survey of Finland (NLS) due to my area of expertise and career interests, and GIS-related companies, such as Esri, GISPO or Paikkatietokonsultit I am a certified personal trainer and I am into nutrition and mindfulness because I believe if I know how to take care of myself then I will know how to take care of the world Dancing is my way of expressing myself. I have performed in the UK and loved it. Popping and salsa dance are what I do and currently learning Ballroom in Finland I admire the development of technology and I like to keep up with it, both for my career and enjoyment. Technology is our most visible and practical achievement and has undeniably improved our life🤖
