Background Bachelor Degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant, University of Illinois (CPA). Certified Public Accountant, Association of Jordanian Certified Public Accountants (JACPA). Khaled has over (14) years of experience. Khaled has worked for Income and Sales tax department for six years, during which, he gained a good experience in Income tax law and assessment procedures for different type of companies. Khaled has joined KPMG in 2007 and his areas of expertise covers Audit, corporate tax, expats payroll tax, withholding tax, tax compliance and other tax issues such as such as assisting tax clients in tax disputes with the tax authority, and objections process in front of tax authority. Khaled ’s experience includes; rendering tax compliance services. In addition to that he provides tax due diligence services and structuring services on targets in in Jordan across a wide range of sectors including insurance, power companies, renewable energy, telecom, real estate, manufacturing, and retail. In addition to providing advice on setting up tax-efficient acquisition structures in Jordan, and conducting several review of financial models from Jordanian tax perspective. Khaled currently provides tax advice on international tax queries related to Jordan, such as corporate tax, withholding tax, Double Tax Treaties in Jordan and other tax issues, and he is often involved in providing foreign investors with detailed advice and information on the investments environment and the business laws and regulations of Jordan, and assist tax clients in preparatory tax planning for their envisaged business set up in Jordan. Khaled has rendered tax advisory services to a variety of tax clients including a number power plant projects in Jordan including traditional power plants and renewable energy projects.
