Khalid Fixe SCMP My journey started with UPS Supply Chain, as the 1st employee to be hired for the UPS Franchise Branch in Casablanca, Morocco. I moved up to the Operations Management where the focus was on Coordination, Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Product Development while managing 63 employees in my team. I was honored to represent the branch in many countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.(ECMEA) for the London Corporate Group. As a credentialed Freight Forwarder, I joined Swissport Canada in Customs release (EDI-ACI), Demand planning, cargo handling, Warehousing, customs requirement, and Customer Service, which paved the way for me to move forward to the Transportation and Logistics for the Import/Export Documentation for all ACGI tramp vessels, especially D'Amico, MOL, NYK, Hapag-Lloyd, and Cruise Lines Principals which align with my CIFFA Credentials to move goods with Standard Trading conditions. I was promoted to the Vessel Operations Manager after being recognized as Certified Ship Agent by the Association of Ship Brokers & Agents(ASBA). The Vessel Operations Manager act on behalf of the Owners for all the ships that call BC ports, and provide real value to our principals for their ship Supply Chain, and efficiently ensure safe and secure movement of their goods I joined Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) as a Buyer for Lab and Medical Imaging Department, to facilitate procurement for BC hospitals’ materials and services. As a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP), I boarded Seaspan as a Buyer. This coincided with the company partnership with the Government of Canada for their sustainable shipbuilding industry. With Seaspan I provided Procurement for all the Divisions (VSY, Marine Corporate, and Drydock), involving coordination of services and goods I joined Neptune Bulk Terminals (NBT) in April 2020, as part of the Allison and CCSP projects team, and a member of the Operational Readiness and Commissioning team (OR & C) for the $800-million upgrade project for Mining giant Teck Resources Ltd & Canpotex. With these two projects, NBT is be able to export 30M tons of metallurgical coal per year. Both projects(Allison & CCSP) been handed over to Neptune Terminals on December 31-2021. In January 2022 I joined the Corporate Neptune Bulk Terminals as a Procurement Specialist/Supply Chain for the whole organization.
