About Khalid Mahmood

With 20+ years of in-depth technical, program management and design, strategy development, finance and M&E experience in the health development sector, I am humbled to showcase a wealth of experience working with the largest donor community, PIOs, development partners, academia and private sector to improve health system in Pakistan. My efforts riveted mostly on strengthening health systems, automation of public health supply chains, enhancing country capacity for global health security, improving governance systems for quality assurance of medical products, and regulation of medical devices and equipment, etc. I move into a leadership position leading global and local endeavors to build country capacities to prevent, detect and respond to new and emerging infectious diseases. I am known for my problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
