I am Chartered Accountant with educational background in accounting, finance, audit, tax and business management disciplines. I am commercially focused and have diversified experience of Accounting, Financial Management, Assurance, and Consulting services in different entities across Pakistan. I worked with X-border teams across the globe (specially with United States based teams) on Power Projects. This knowledge and experience has enriched my skills set in the following areas: 1. Budgeting, Financial Planning and Forecasting: I have worked with different companies in improving their budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting cycles. I have established budgeting functions and provided training to finance staff. Treasury, Cash Flows and Working Capital management: I have reviewed company level treasury functions and supported them to minimize their investments in working capital, leverage more cash flows and optimise capital structure (WACC). Governance and Internal Controls: I have performed number of organizational restructuring exercises to improve overall governance structure, developed charters for different committees and developed entity wide internal controls frameworks. Management Reporting: I have assisted CFOs to mature management reporting as well as reporting techniques including management accounting, costing, segment reporting and IFRS. Economics, Commercial and Digital Acumen: I invest in these areas to have clarity on business' markets, laws, macro- economic, technology and geo-political conditions. This helps me to provide transformational suggestions to C-suite executives. IT skills: I have worked with number of complex software's, ERP systems and have strong MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills. Contract negotiation: Negotiating commercial terms with different agreements and contracts including but not limited to EPC contracts, O&M agreements, Structured financing transactions and service level agreements 8. Insurance related matters Negotiating Insurance policies, their terms and conditions and premium. Coordination with Insurance brokers for Claims settlement 9. Investment Portfolio Keeping close watch on the market and investment of available funds in different portfolios so as to maximize the returns for the organization
