Khalid comes with over 30 years of experience in IT and Banking. He has served as a senior business analyst, Systems implementer, Tester, in Banking and Finance, managing most of the core, consumer & corporate banking products at notable banks internationally (Hong Kong, Oman, Pakistan, Kenya & UK) like Standard Chartered Bank, KASB and National Bank of Oman. Khalid specializes in international trade finance and documentary credit operations. He comes with over 15 years of experience as senior business analyst handling both business and technology segments for trade finance and other banking areas. He played a key role in deployment of full range of trade finance applications including Trade Innovation from Misys which significantly increased the overall productivity and control at 3 of the banks he worked at. During his tenure he instructed numerous training sessions to utilize related banking products effectively and efficiently. Khalid is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) form Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK) and holds numerous certifications in technology and trade finance like PMP, MCSE+I, UCP600 and eUCP500. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
