About Khalil Aloui

As Systems Engineering / MBSE Lead at Capgemini Engineering, I'm involved in complex R&D projects, in particular the modelling and simulation of level 3 autopilot systems. I carry out co-simulation using Matlab/Simulink and Magicdraw to optimise the functional design, while developing the functional architecture using an MBSE and SysML approach. My expertise extends to the certification of autonomous vehicles by guaranteeing their compliance with safety standards (ISO 26262) and conducting safety studies (HARA) for ADAS systems such as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control (ACC). I also manage the integration and testing of these systems on vehicles, modelling and simulating autonomous driving scenarios using advanced tools such as RoadRunner and Cameo Systems Modeler. Motivated by innovation, I combine expertise in MBSE with a solid grasp of robotics technologies to offer reliable, high-performance solutions. I also master advanced technologies such as SLAM, lidars, cameras, and programming with Python, OpenCV and ROS/ROS2. I'm passionate about continuing to develop my skills, and I'm particularly keen to deepen my knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). My goal is to become a recognised PLM expert, capable of leading strategic initiatives and bringing tangible added value to my projects and my organisation.
