About Khalil Spight

I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a strong passion for student development, equity, and public service. Through my experience as a Resident Advisor, congressional intern, and campus leader, I’ve developed a deep commitment to building inclusive communities, supporting underrepresented voices, and empowering others through mentorship and advocacy. Whether working in residence life, legislative offices, or student organizations, I bring energy, empathy, and a service-driven mindset to every role I take on. I’m especially interested in higher education, law, and government, and I strive to create environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Currently exploring opportunities that allow me to combine my leadership skills, policy experience, and passion for justice to make a meaningful impact
