About Khalil Travis

As an Interdisciplinary Studies major, I’ve designed my own path by combining Health Science and Psychology to reflect my passion for helping others achieve optimal mental and physical well-being. My goal is to bring a well-rounded, human-centered approach to any field I step into—whether it’s healthcare, finance, or sports—by understanding people, data, and systems. From my experience with VCU Health as an intern, where I screened patients for social disparities and connected them to essential resources. This hands-on clinical experience has deepened my understanding of healthcare access and patient advocacy. Outside the clinical space, I’ve mentored youth from challenging backgrounds, supporting them academically, athletically, and personally—skills that translate into strong leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence. I’m excited to bring my diverse skill set and holistic mindset to roles that value empathy, strategy, and impact.
