About Khamsin Giedd

As the Director of Project Management in R&D, I lead a team of project and program managers whose primary focus is ensuring the release and commercialization of innovative medical device components. I am also responsible for developing and improving our business systems as well as facilitating the management of our project portfolio. As Heraus, I collaborate with global cross-functional teams to streamline and organize our systems and projects to enable the production of our products to help customers meet their goals. I believe the products we make directly impact people in a positive way. Anything I can do to make those products more reliable and more efficient/easier to produce enables us to help more people.I began my career as an engineer in the automotive industry, where I designed new products, such as brake components, developed systems improvements, led technical projects.Growing up in a family of engineers, I learned to be creative and tenacious in solving problems and to work with highly technical people. I enjoy helping engineer grow in their careers and collaborate with teams.
