About Khara Sims

My name is Khara Sims and I am a recent masters graduate of Cleveland State University's Adult Learning and Development program. I have been involved with multiple organizations, positions within higher education, executive boards, and even assisting various departments at Cleveland State University. I personally believe that my discipline and consistency to also learn and grow will be the push I will always need to succeed in my life and positions. I am an individual that has come from a tough background and through everything that has happened I have always remained humble and pushing forward. When it comes to my work ethic I always complete a task that I start and I am always thorough when I work on a project. I have worked in management positions and I have amazing management skills due to my past experiences and things that I have done in other occupations. I have worked with co-workers that were of my generation in addition to working with those that were from a much older generation and have always been able to reach and respect them. My experience is in teaching, academic and student affairs, administrative support, customer service, public relations, organizational leadership, mentoring, and management.
