About Khari Whitfield

I am a dedicated IT and cybersecurity professional with a strong background in Security Operations, Cloud Security, and Systems Administration. My experience spans supporting mission-critical environments, triaging and investigating security incidents, and strengthening enterprise systems through automation and process improvement. Currently working as a Cybersecurity Analyst, I utilize tools such as Splunk, AWS GuardDuty, CrowdStrike Falcon, and ServiceNow to monitor, detect, and remediate threats across complex environments. I hold industry certifications including CompTIA Security+, CEH, and AWS Cloud Practitioner. With a foundation in the U.S. Air Force as an Avionics Technician, I bring the discipline, reliability, and adaptability forged through years of military service into every technical challenge. Beyond operations, I’ve built a homelab environment to design and test enterprise-level SOC workflows with Proxmox, Wazuh, Zeek, and Suricata—showcasing both my technical initiative and passion for continuous learning. I am eager to contribute to teams where I can apply my expertise in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and systems engineering to build secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructures. Open to collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovative problem-solving.
