Background

About Khoirul Anwar

A Biologist who is eager and dynamic Life Science graduate in Biology (B.Sc) and Microbiology (M.Sc), possessing a solid foundation in conducting research and experiments. I have strong skills in teaching, with experience teaching Biology and Microbiology. I achieved my Master's degree in Microbiology from IPB University, fully funded by the LPDP scholarship. I further enriched my knowledge and built my network by joining the Erasmus+ exchange program, majoring in Biology at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. In terms of work experience, I have four years of experience in Laboratory Management and successfully developed 18 Molecular (RT-PCR) Laboratories in Indonesia since the COVID-19 pandemic. My experience as a Junior Consultant at APHL (Association of Public Health Laboratory) Indonesia enriched my experiences when assisting the Ministry of Health in Indonesia to develop the National Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that will be integrated into the SATUSEHAT platform. Additionally, I have entrepreneurial experience in Integrated Organic Agriculture based on Biocyclofarming for two years, where I planned crop management, maintenance, and marketing for organic agriculture products. I am an active person, a quick learner, and love participating in seminars and training to continuously upgrade my hard and soft skills. Networking is important to me, and I strive to grow better through connecting with others. I have a strong interest in teaching, applied biology, and microbiology across various sectors, with a specialty in mycology. Currently I am working as a Biology Lecturer at Universitas Internasional Batam. I am interested in Mycology especially Termitomyces spp and fungus growing termite.
