About Kholoud Nd

I started my journey in teaching English Language in 2002 and I have never looked back since then. The past 12 years have been a thoroughly enriching part of my life because I have always been challenged to make a meaningful difference through my work. In my teaching career I have learnt that teaching is all about learning and this is what has kept me going for so long. Being a flexible educator, I have taken the opportunity to work in schools and universities. I instructed a wide variety of students from various background and all facets of society. I integrate teaching and technology to ensure that each student is able to comprehend and retain the concepts of language, My goals are to encourage and maintain an open, honest, communicative, and supportive classroom, in which each student feel safe, secure, special, and appropriately challenge. My aims are to provide an authentic learning experience to help students draw on prior learning, acquire new knowledge, and tap into their creativity to further develop this knowledge. In this way, teaching has also given me the chance to share my passion not only for language, but also for literature, drama and music which I have always tried to integrate in my lessons in order to provide students with a more holistic and fun education. Currently, I am working as Head of English Language Centre at Lincoln University College.
