Passionate Energy Modeler and CFD Engineer I am a dedicated professional with a multi-dimensional background in Energy Modeling, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Data Analysis. This extensive experience in sustainable energy solutions has been driven by a firm belief in innovation and a desire to make a real difference in the environment and energy efficiency. I am working as a Data Analyst and Energy Modeler at University of Victoria, which has involved in energy research. Here, I am at the forefront of retrofitting solutions for energy-efficient buildings using data-driven modeling and aligned with the ambitious decarbonization goals set out by Canada. My work consists of developing robust frameworks to analyze municipal policies in their claims about reaching carbon reduction targets, using state-of-the-art statistical modeling and machine learning techniques that drive impact. My previous roles have provided me with a very diverse skill set and extensive experience. As an Energy Specialist, I led the development of techno-economic frameworks used to assess renewable energy integration in buildings, through analyses with tools like EnergyPlus and Python. As a CFD Specialist at Louisiana State University, I have done computational modeling for the simulation of biomass processes and collaborated with multiple research groups and companies in refining complex thermal and flow models that will help drive impactful outcomes. My experiences using energy simulation tools such as EnergyPlus, engineering CFD software such as Ansys Fluent and COMSOL Multiphysics, and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and FORTRAN empowered me to implement energy and CFD simulation projects efficiently. As a Faculty Member and Project Manager at the Graduate University of Advanced Technology, I have a proven track record of managing cross-functional research teams and leading projects focused on tackle real-world challenges in engineering and renewable energy. Through mentorship and instruction, I have guided the next generation of engineers, and leaders to succeed in their academic endeavors and make a difference in their chosen area.
