About Kian Razavi

Bi-national Swiss and Persian, I was born and raised in Tehran before joining Switzerland at the age of 17. Passionate of Art in general, specially Music, I love to pass my time discovering new bands in different genre, from Jazz to Pop to Rock to Metal. Before starting Crossfit, I did mainly tennis and basketball. Impatient to go to the gym +3 times a week, even if it's hard sometimes, and gladly take challenges and events when I have the possibility. I hate being categorized as "ill". although I am nearly one, I feel the urge always to surpass myself just for the sake of believing that the illness is not yet winning. I feel as a Damocles sword on my head, always with this thought that my life would radically change that day. but I also know that with good physical chape, I can postpone the D day and that is what try to do. I am very much priviledged and happy to finish in the top 30% of different crossfit events. but I have a "never satisfied caracter". I know and feel that I give 50-80% of myself and the MS works as a break in a car. never physically capable to go 100% and my brain tells me "you can do better":) I also love travelling to culturally rich places. The trip that changed my vision of the world was Svalbard, Norway. felt deeply in love with that place! True North! Also Cuba, Japan, Iceland, etc. Professionally, I am a dedicated recruiter since 2011 and helped a huge load of professionals find their new challenges or paths. Starting my sourcing career in Engineering, I am now enabling contact in the Pharma/Biotechnology industry since +5 years now. Lean is my daily approach in work, always keen to improve the process, myself and colleague' work! Happy in my work and always ready to take up challenges within a great company! Diagnosed with an MS in 2017, I am happily working at 100% everyday. My illness has been mostly a benefit in my life, I have been determined and inspired to show everyone that MS is just a different way of doing the same things than anyone else;). I opened my eyes when diagnosed and this is really a great thing in my life! Human Forward means that we connect with everyone and help them as much as possible in their career paths.
